4. How does the trade program work for manufacturers (suppliers) and importers (buyers)?
We are in a pilot global trade program via distributed financial blockchain technology which is the first global real time gross settlements system that enables banks to message and document, clear and settle transactions with increased speed, transparency and efficiency across global footprint of bank and payment providers, rather than a constellation of disparate technologies, unstandardized communications and centralized networks, such as issuing Letter of Credit (L/C) and negotiating related documents to the bank.
THE GLOBAL TRADE OPERATING SYSTEM
How it works
Multiple entities are involved in a typical trade process and each entity interacts with the other through soiled channels. No one has a clear view on the status of the trade instruments such as purchase orders, bills, invoices and letters of credit.
In a distributed and shared network based system built on blockchain technology, all parties in a transaction have direct relationships with each other and absolute transparency of the transaction instruments
The solution is designed to help digitize trade and finance business processes, which has a range of functions, including Bill Collection, Letter of Credit, Open Account for Trade, C2C Transactions for Trade, B2C Transaction for Trade, PO Financing and Invoice Financing. It offers a cryptographically secure, end-to-end payment flow with transaction immutability and information redundancy.
5. What are the benefits of being STREAMLINED LOGISTICALLY WORLDWIDE?
By adopting an open and neutral supply chain platform underpinned by blockchain technology, we are enabling true information sharing and collaboration across supply chains, thereby increasing industry innovation, reducing trade friction and—ultimately—promoting more global trade.
To connect the ecosystem, it brings together all parties in the supply chain—including beneficial cargo owners, freight forwarders, inland transportation providers including rail and trucking, ports and terminals, ocean carriers, customs and other government authorities—onto a single, secure data-sharing and collaboration in the cloud platform. It enables the digitization and automation of cross- organizational business processes integral to global trade.
We are confident that we could optimize the global trade logistics, smooth the operation of securing the right schedule from carriers, air or ocean, and the best possible freight rate for our members . By solving the complex and time consuming supply chain, manufacturers would be able to pay more attention on quality control, effecting shipments of quality products and working on R & D to develop new, fine products, while importers, buyers would be able to concentrate energy on marketing and distribution before the shipment arrived.
